Arizona, the "Grand Canyon State", is

114,006 square miles, Arizona is 42% desert, 33% forest(15% National
Forest), and 25% grasslands. Admitted on February 14, 1912 and is
the 48th State. Situated in Mountain Standard Time it's highest
point is 12,633 ft. (Humphries Peak) and it's lowest point is the
Colorado River at 70 ft below sea level. The State Flower is the
Saguaro Cactus Blossom, the State Tree is the Palo Verde, the State Bird
is the Cactus Wren, and the State Gem Stone is Turquoise.
